Good job bro..In old maps North Africa was named BERBERIE , French for Barbary ,meaning lands of the Berbers aka Moroccans ...Today Algeria ,Tunisia ,Libya and part of Egypt were part of the Barbary Kingdom ,today known as Mooris Kingdom .America fought the Barbary Wars and Barabary Pirates are often cited and talked about in history books...I still maintain that TARTARY is nothing but BARBARY of the East ..Thanks bro ...continue your re-writing history work
Bear in mind that contrary to official his-story ,the Barbary States a.k.a the Moorish Empire were also in the Americas …Morocco with its kingdoms of Morocco [here Morocco is the city of Marrakech ] ,Fes, Sus was in Latin America ,mainly in Mexico , Brazil ,Peru , Venezuela ,Guayana etc , Algiers was in New Orleans , Tunis in Tennessse and Tripoli somewhere in America ..Also contrary to official history the Barbary Wars were waged and fought in the Americas not in North Africa…All the best my dear brother .
I remember in my youth coming across "Barbary Coast" in literature - I have no recollection of where or what I made of it but I had no sense of it not referring to a real location.
People are still called Berbers.
"Berbers are the indigenous, pre-Arab population of North Africa, while Arabs originated in the Arabian Peninsula. In North Africa, "Arab" is primarily a linguistic and cultural identity rather than a purely ethnic one. Many North Africans who identify as Arab today are actually of largely Berber ancestry and have adopted Arabic language and customs."
I had never heard of the place until I began my searching for Tartary, it was never mentioned to me in school nor did I come across it in my early life.
The name is interesting - Barbary, it’s the English name, like Tartary, in French, Tartarie, Barbarie, it’s curiously similar!.
It’s not going anywhere (hopefully😆), enjoy your time with your family Gina, one day it’ll become a distant thing, so take every second as a blessing sister ❤️
Yes i have wondered if this could be my last one. Will they be able to make it again and what will life be like. Or will we be here. So much going on, must enjoy today because tomorrow is not promised. God bless and thank you again!!! 🙏💖
2. They call each other “Companion”; some with blood of royal descent, some with that of the fox, and some with that of the hare; their eyes are very piercing.
That’s quite interesting! The whole thing is interesting, great piece, thank you!!
Another great find! I do know the word, "barbarian" was an indicator that One thought the "barbarian" was from the "area" of Barbary, and I guess it was not an "area," but a country.
Thank You for bringing more historical knowledge to the fore!

Thanks for reading and commenting Petra.
While they do seem to be hiding Tartaria, I think Barbary is pretty well recognised. This is an interesting page.

You’re most welcome!, and I find a lot of derogatory terms are born from real things!
Part of the great inversion of reality.
Thanks for reading Amaterasu!❤️
